Piano Lessons
Piano lessons are available 6 days a week, 1pm - 9pm weekdays and 9am - 5pm on Saturday. We are closed on Sunday. Whatever your needs, whether you are looking to learn for your own enjoyment or would like to study for exams and pass grades, we will tailor your lessons to suit your needs. You also have the choice to learn on a digital or acoustic piano.
We can recommend and supply books for study to our pupils, from beginners to exam material so you don't have to spend your time scouring the shops or internet for the best deal. Books used are age appropriate, from child friendly publications such as John Thompson's Easiest Piano Course to Carol Barratt's Classic Piano Course for older beginners/adults or Michael Aaron's Adult Piano Course. We work with you to choose the right book.
It is important that pupils enjoy lessons and we strive hard to balance focused study within a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We also aim to build your confidence through our positive and enthusiastic attitude. We offer and welcome back constructive feedback.
As long as you have the time, commitment and willingness to practice, we have the skills and patience to help you succeed, whatever you want to achieve.
Whatever your needs, give us a call on 07866 776924

Music Theory

Music Theory is an important part of any music education. It is vital if you want to succeed in the higher graded exams. We teach theory from an early stage and we incorporate it into your lesson so that it becomes part of your education and not a secondary subject.

It is however, available as a stand alone subject if required. You do not need to be studying a musical instrument with us to benefit from theory tuition.

We advise purchasing such books as the 'AB Guide to Music Theory (Part 1)' for theory education up to grade 5 and 'Music Theory in Practice'. If you want to study higher music theory grades, we suggest purchasing the 'AB Guide to Music Theory (Part 2)'.

Before entering you for your music theory exam, we will go through past papers so that you have a good understanding of what to expect during your exam.

GCSE Music & A Level
If you or your child are approaching their GCSE's or A Level's and are considering or currently studying Music, would you benefit from some extra tuition? If so, then please get in touch. One to one tuition will increase chances of passing, build confidence and allow you or your child to ask more questions that they might not get the opportunity to do in the classroom.
